Introduction: This paper analyzes the Indigenous Games in the School Physical Education classes. It is an alternative that adds socio-cultural value to the elementary school students. Objective: To analyze the extent to which games contribute to the recognition of Brazilian cultural diversity. Material and Methods: This is a descriptive research, with quantitative-qualitative approach, in which data collection will be carried out in a transversal way. Results: Most interviewees have an interest in experiencing the Indigenous Games, that is, there is a curiosity of most of the students for subjects related to the indigenous culture. Discussion: According to the analysis of the sample it was verified that 23% of the students had not studied On indigenous culture. Which means that Law 11.645 is not being applied properly. Final Considerations: It was possible to perceive the interest of the majority of the interviewees in experiencing the Indigenous Games understood as traditional games.
