Resumo: | Introduction: This study aimed to point out the benefits and possibilities of application of circus activities in physical education classes, for its range of content that can be worked on bringing a new perspective of physical culture education he circus activities have a favorable potential for their activities form part of the lessons of Physical Education, for its range of content that can be worked on bringing a new motion teaching perspective. Objective: The aim of this study is to analyze the practice of circus activities and its favorable potential for the acquisition of a physical and social environment that enables new perspectives for motivation and physical / cognitive / cultural development of children and adolescents in physical education classes. Materials and methods: the type of search performed is a literature review with a qualitative approach to the problem. As for the technical procedures, the research is exploratory and descriptive. Literature review: the captions were covered Circus and School Physical Education, circus activities in physical education; Dimensions according to the National Curriculum Parameters (PCNs). Final Thoughts: research demonstrates how circus activities can be excellent option for breaking the traditional teaching methodology in physical education classes, as it explores the body, being a new possibility lesson provided to students. |

Objetivo: o objetivo geral deste trabalho é analisar a prática de atividades circenses e seu potencial favorável à aquisição de um ambiente físico e social que possibilite novas perspectivas para motivação e desenvolvimento físico / cognitivo/ cultural de crianças e adolescentes nas aulas de Educação Física Escolar. Materiais e métodos: o tipo de pesquisa realizado é de revisão bibliográfica, com abordagem qualitativa do problema. Quanto aos procedimentos técnicos, a pesquisa é do tipo exploratória e descritiva. Revisão de literatura: os subtítulos abordados foram Circo e Educação Física Escolar, atividades circenses na educação física escolar; Dimensões segundo os parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais (PCNs).
