Resumo: | This article aims to analyze the contribution of IFRS Campus Bento Gonçalves in technical and complementary training in tourism, an important sector for promotion and cultural and socioeconomic development in Serra Gaúcha region. For this purpose, documents and actions related to tourism and carried out by the institution were analyzed, in addition to the application of an on-line questionnaire sent to undergraduates of the Technical in Accommodation, the only course offered from the Tourism, Hospitality and Leisure axes. The sample includes 68% of the undergraduates of the course (N=31), which 95,2% believe that the course generated professional opportunities. The main interests about the course are related to the return to studies and the search for qualification in the tourism area. Only 38,1% were working when the course had started – percentage that increased during and at the end of the course. Related to the other complementary activities offered by the institution (courses, conferences, learning projects, research an extension projects, among others), just 38,1% of the undergraduates had participated in those actions. These study has allowed us to identify the contribution, in terms of qualification, of IFRS Campus to the tourism development in the city, expanding its representation in discussion instances. Even so, it is necessary to continue and implement courses and activities to the whole community, especially with verticalization of education in Tourism, Hospitality and Leisure. |

Este artículo tiene como objetivo analizar la contribuición de IFRS Campus Bento Gonçalves en la formación técnica y complementaria en el área del turismo, importante sector de promoción y desarrollo cultural y socioeconomico en la región de Serra Gaúcha. Para tal, se analizaron documentos y acciones relacionadas com el turismo, realizadas por la institución, además de la aplicación de cuestionario online enviado a los egresados del curso Técnico en Alojamiento, único curso oferecido en el campus, del eje Turismo, Hospitalidad y Ocio. La muestra comprende a 68% de los egresados del curso (N=31), de los cuales 95,2% considera que el curso generó oportunidades profesionales. Los principales intereses acerca del curso están relacionados con el regréso a los estudios y la búsqueda por capacitación en el ámbito del turismo. Sólo 38,1% estaba trabajando cuando comenzó el curso, porcentaje que aumentó durante y con el término del camino formativo. Acerca de las otras atividades ofertadas por la institución (cursos, conferencias, proyectos de enseñanza, investigación y extensión, entre otras), no obstante sólo el 38,1% de los egresados había participado de estas acciones. Esta investigación permitió identificar la contribución, en término de capacitación, del IFRS Campus Bento Gonçalves para el desarrollo del turismo en la ciudad, ampliando su representación en los espacios de discusión. Sin embargo, es necesaria la continuación y implementación de oferta de cursos y actividades a toda la comunidad, sobre todo en la verticalización de educación en Turismo, Hospitalidad y Ocio.Cet article a comme objectif l’analyse de la contribution de l’IFRS Campus Bento Gonçalves à la formation technique et complémentaire visant le domaine du tourisme, un important secteur pour la promotion et le développement culturel et socioéconomique de la région de Serra Gaúcha. A cet effet, des documents et des actions liées au tourisme et réalisées par l'institution ont été analysées, en plus de l'application d'un questionnaire en ligne envoyé aux diplômés du cours Technicien Hébergeur, la seule offre de l'axe Tourisme, Hôtellerie et Loisirs du campus. L'échantillon correspond à 68% des diplômés (N=31) et 95,2% d’entre eux considèrent que le cours a généré des opportunités professionnelles. Les principaux intérêts par rapport au cours sont liés au retour aux études et à la recherche de qualification dans le domaine du tourisme. Seulement 38,1% travaillaient au début du cours – pourcentage qui a augmenté pendant et après le parcours formatif. En ce qui concerne les autres activités proposées par l'Institution (cours, conférences, projets d’enseignement, projets de recherche et de vulgarisation, entre autres), seulement 38,1% des diplômés ont en participé. Cette étude a permis d'identifier l'apport, en termes de qualification, de l'IFRS Campus Bento Gonçalves au développement du tourisme dans la ville, en élargissant sa représentation dans les forums de discussion. Néanmoins, il est nécessaire de poursuivre et d'augmenter l'offre de cours et d'activités pour la communauté en général, notamment en ce qui concerne la verticalisation de l'enseignement en Tourisme, Hôtellerie et Loisirs.O presente artigo tem como objetivo analisar a contribuição do IFRS Campus Bento Gonçalves na formação técnica e complementar voltada à área de turismo, importante setor de promoção e desenvolvimento cultural e socioeconômico na região da Serra Gaúcha. Para isso, foram analisados documentos e ações, relacionadas ao turismo, realizadas pela instituição, além da aplicação de questionário on-line enviado aos que concluíram o curso Técnico em Hospedagem, única oferta do eixo Turismo, Hospitalidade e Lazer no campus. A amostra corresponde a 68% dos egressos (N=31), sendo que, desses, 95,2% consideram que o curso gerou oportunidades profissionais. Os principais interesses em relação ao curso relacionam-se ao retorno aos estudos e a busca por qualificação na área do turismo. Apenas 38,1% estavam trabalhando no momento do início do curso – percentual que aumentou no decorrer e término do percurso formativo. Com relação às demais atividades ofertadas pela Instituição (cursos, palestras, projetos de ensino, pesquisa e extensão, entre outros), somente 38,1% dos egressos participaram dessas ações. Esse estudo possibilitou identificar a contribuição, em termos de qualificação, do IFRS Campus Bento Gonçalves com o desenvolvimento do turismo no município, ampliando sua representação em instâncias de discussão.
