Resumo: The mental patient who commits crime is arbitrated security measures for the treatment and reduction of dangerousness. Todavia, o que se vislumbra no cumprimento desta medida é uma punição velada, que limita a liberdade e infringe direitos fundamentais dos internos, que são isolados sem prazo de retorno ao convívio social.
