Society Centrist Consumption and its Consequences Environmental: Social Cooperation and Participatory Democracy for Environmental Preservation

Resumo: In this paper we analyze the consumocentrista society and the social and environmental impacts arising from the disposal of products. It seeks to determine whether social cooperation, participatory democracy and public policies for local space can effectively contribute to environmental preservation while minimizing the problems created by consumocentrismo. The method used is analytical. We conclude that social cooperation, participatory democracy and local public policies to facilitate the social improvement and environmental preservation, as they would have power to minimize the adverse effects of hiperconsumista society in the environmental context.

Procura-se verificar se a cooperação social, a democracia participativa e as políticas públicas voltadas para o espaço local podem colaborar efetivamente para a preservação ambiental minimizando os problemas criados pelo consumocentrismo. O método utilizado é o analítico.
