A pesquisa busca demonstrar a possibilidade de conexão entre a função social da propriedade e alguns postulados atinentes à Análise Econômica do Direito. Foi realizada uma breve contextualização da Função Social da Propriedade e da Análise Econômica do Direito. Em sequência, foram explorados os postulados relativos à custo de oportunidade, conduta racional maximizando o bem-estar e respostas à incentivos, sob a ótica da função social da propriedade. O trabalho concretizou-se pela revisão legislativa, pesquisa bibliográfica e análise de trabalhos acadêmicos. Por fim, salienta que a perspectiva de análise da função social da propriedade não se restringe à ótica jurídica.Palavras-chave: Direito; Economia; Postulados; Propriedade; Social.ABSTRACT The research seeks to demonstrate the possibility of a connection between the social function of property and some postulates related to the Economic Analysis of Law. A brief contextualization of the Social Function of Property and the Economic Analysis of Law was carried out. Postulates related to opportunity cost, rational behavior maximizing well-being and responses to incentives were explored, from the perspective of the social function of property.The work was based on legislative review, bibliographic research and analysis of academic works. It emphasizes that the analysis of the social function of property is not restricted to the legal perspective.Keywords: Economy; Postulates; Property; Social;Right.
