Resumo: Under the theoretical-methodological approach which underlines the heritage as historical knowledge and includes new understandings around cultural diversity, the present study discusses how the heritage education may provide some insights into how to enlarge the practice of teachers. Our analysis refers to the contributions of heritage education with its different frames of identity references, highlighting the bonds between history and memory for the teaching and learning process and so emphasizing the conectivity between research and teaching in the basic education.
