The theme addressed in this document is the Mechanical Services Consultation (Consulta de serviços mecânicos or CSM, in portuguese) project. When researching on Brazilian everyday difficulties that were aggravated by the pandemic, we delve into the topics of maintenance and private car transactions and how we could, using technology, increase reliability and comfort for vehicle owners. In this regard, one of the main goals of the project is to bring up-to-date and reliable information in a private sale of the vehicle, on a scenario where the seller is able to provide accurate information about the history and condition of the car and the buyer can check the veracity of the information, consequently having less chances of falling into scams and losing out for false information. The application will be developed on three fronts, one mobile and two web. We are using the Google Maps API, integrating data with both the web and mobile frontend, which will be structured using React and NodeJS technologies, optimizing the way a consumer manages the maintenance of their vehicle, increasing comfort and simplicity to this usually tricky and time consuming process.
