Resumo: | Abstract: Caused by the beta-coronavirus SARS-CoV2, COVID-19 put the world population on alert at the end of 2019. The sequelae of the disease are quite common in affected patients, even in individuals with mild and moderate degrees. Objective: To evaluate the effects of Reiki and Chromotherapy as complementary therapies in the recovery of the sequelae of postCOVID-19 patients. Method: The sample consisted of 28 participants of both sexes, aged between 20 and 59 years, victims of COVID-19 with mild to modeate intensity manifestations, who didn’t require admission to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and who were undergoing physical therapy treatment. They were divided by drawing lots into na 5 experimental Reiki group (GER n=10), an experimental Chromotherapy group (GEC n=9) and a control group (GC n=9). The pre and post- intervention evaluation procedures consisted of: WHOQOLQ-bref and IDATE questionnaries, assessment of respiratory frequency and chest expansion, 6 minutes Walk test (6MWT), which evaluate heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, distance and subjective perception of physical effort, sit and stand test (TSL) and muscle strenght test abdominal. The experimental groups recived 4 consultations. Results: In respiratory frequency and blood pressure, only the GER reduced reduction (p < 0.05). In the subjective perception of effort in the 6MWT and in the abdominal muscle strength test, only the GEC showed significant improvements (p0.05). Conclusion: Both the application of Reiki and the application of Chromo Therapy promoted improvements in respiratory capacity, functional capacity and quality of life in patients with post-COVID-19 sequelae, who were undergoing physical therapy treatment. |

Conclusion: Both the application of Reiki and the application of Chromo Therapy promoted improvements in respiratory capacity, functional capacity and quality of life in patients with post-COVID-19 sequelae, who were undergoing physical therapy treatment. Universidade PositivoBrasilFisioterapiaUPCepeda, Christina Paramustchak Cruzhttp://lattes.cnpq.br/0722551932322517Zarutzki, Ana Carolina da PazPaukowski, Iara Cristina Yoshida2022-04-18T18:47:45Z20212022-04-18T18:47:45Z2021info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/bachelorThesisapplication/pdfhttps://repositorio.cruzeirodosul.edu.br/handle/123456789/3462porinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessreponame:Repositório do Centro Universitário Braz Cubasinstname:Centro Universitário Braz Cubas (CUB)instacron:CUB2022-04-18T18:49:06Zoai:repositorio.cruzeirodosul.edu.br:123456789/3462Repositório InstitucionalPUBhttps://repositorio.brazcubas.edu.br/oai/requestbibli@brazcubas.edu.bropendoar:2022-04-18T18:49:06Repositório do Centro Universitário Braz Cubas - Centro Universitário Braz Cubas (CUB)false |
