Resumo: The article aims to analyze the present study to evaluate if the production in the field of psychology is used by legal theory to support the institution of Shared Guard as an instrument for prevention and / or combat the practice of Parental Alienation. Having clarified the definitions of these themes and their legislative changes, the article will undertake a bibliographic review, with the support of national databases, to identify the relationship between shared custody and parental alienation in the texts consulted, and the methodology used to Relationship. Based on the collected data, the contribution of the interdisciplinary study on parental styles and patterns of relationship between spouses, knowledge from Psi Sciences, will be discussed, which allows to affirm that the treatment most appropriate to the systemic imbalance provoked by the act of Parental Alienation demands the evaluation Of each concrete case, in search of the dialogue between legal measure and therapeutic intervention

Esclarecidas as definições desses temas e as respectivas evoluções legislativas, o artigo empreenderá revisão bibliográfica, com o apoio de bases de dados nacionais, para identificar qual a relação estabelecida entre guarda compartilhada e alienação parental nos textos consultados, e qual a metodologia utilizada para permitir o estabelecimento dessa relação.
