Strategies for teaching reading and writing in the context of linguistic policies for the deaf

Resumo: | In this article, we want to discuss some strategies for teaching Portuguese language pointing out to bilingual education for the deaf. A conceptual basis chosen as a research reference lies on historical cultural theory (VIGOTSKI, 1924/1989), on relationships that involve human development and learning. This study also proposes to dialogue with authors who follow a socio-interactionist view of teaching the second language. This investigation was based on a literature review. Results conclude that the quality of symbolic mediation in schooling for the deaf brings positive results on learning Portuguese. |

A base conceitual escolhida como referência da pesquisa pauta-se na teoria histórico-cultural (VIGOTSKI, 1924/1989), sobre as relações que envolvem o desenvolvimento humano e a aprendizagem. Esse estudo também se propõe a dialogar com autores que seguem a visão sociointeracionista de ensino de segunda língua. A realização desta investigação baseou-se em uma revisão de literatura.
