Entrepreneurship in archivology: necessary reflections

Resumo: The documents produced and received by the institutions lack specific informational treatment to become, among other factors, important administrative arms for decision-making. The archivist is the professional with specific training to work with archival documents. Its performance can occur in public and private environments. In this way, this research aims to analyze the archivist as an entrepreneurial professional, who works through the provision of service, an area that has a consistent and broad field of action, which permeates the public and private area. The problem established for this research presents the following question: Do the current curricula of undergraduate courses in Archival Science contribute to the formation of an entrepreneurial professional? The general objective of this study is to verify whether in the curricula of Brazilian Archival courses there is an offer of discipline that deals with entrepreneurship, since the role of the archivist as an autonomous professional presents itself as a fruitful field of work. As methodological procedures, this research presents itself as exploratory and descriptive with a quantitative-quantitative approach. For the development of the documentary corpus, a non-systematic literature review was used in order to present the theoretical scope related to the themes presented. To verify how [and if] the discipline of entrepreneurship has been offered, the curricular matrices of undergraduate courses in Archival Science in Brazil were analyzed. In order to know the perception of archivists about the need for disciplines that deal with entrepreneurship to contribute to professional training, a questionnaire was developed and applied, using a Google forms form for the target audience of the research. The research was developed with the contribution of 9 archivists who work as entrepreneurial professionals. As a result, the research showed that only 05 Universities offer courses that address questions about entrepreneurship. Thus, there is a low incidence of the discipline in Archival Science courses, which demonstrates a need to review the curricula, so that they are adequate to the demands in the job market for archivists.

El archivero es el profesional con formación específica para trabajar con documentos de archivo. Su desempeño puede ocurrir en ambientes públicos y privados. De esta manera, esta investigación tiene como objetivo analizar al archivero como un profesional emprendedor, que actúa a través de la prestación de servicio, área que tiene un campo de acción consistente y amplio, que permea el área pública y privada. El problema planteado para esta investigación presenta la siguiente interrogante: ¿Los planes de estudio actuales de los cursos de pregrado en Archivística contribuyen a la formación de un profesional emprendedor? El objetivo general de este estudio es verificar si en los planes de estudio de los cursos brasileños de Archivística hay una oferta de disciplina que trata sobre el emprendimiento, ya que el papel del archivero como profesional autónomo se presenta como un campo de trabajo fructífero. Como procedimientos metodológicos, esta investigación se presenta como exploratoria y descriptiva con un enfoque cuantitativo-cuantitativo. Para el desarrollo del corpus documental, se utilizó una revisión no sistemática de la literatura con el fin de presentar los alcances teóricos relacionados con los temas presentados. Para verificar cómo [y si] se ha ofrecido la disciplina del emprendimiento, se analizaron las matrices curriculares de los cursos de graduación en Archivística en Brasil. Con el fin de conocer la percepción de los archivistas sobre la necesidad de que las disciplinas que se ocupan del emprendimiento contribuyan a la formación profesional, se elaboró ​​y aplicó un cuestionario, utilizando un formulario do Google Forms para el público objetivo de la investigación. La investigación se desarrolló con el aporte de 9 archiveros que se desempeñan como profesionales emprendedores. Como resultado, la investigación mostró que solo 05 Universidades ofrecen cursos que abordan cuestiones sobre el emprendimiento. Así, hay una baja incidencia de la disciplina en los cursos de Archivística, lo que demuestra la necesidad de revisar los planes de estudios, para que sean adecuados a las demandas del mercado de trabajo para los archivistas.Os documentos produzidos e recebidos pelas instituições carecem de um tratamento informacional específico para se tornar, entre outros fatores, importantes braços administrativos para a tomada decisória. O arquivista é o profissional com formação específica para trabalhar com os documentos de arquivo. A sua atuação pode ocorrer nos ambientes públicos e privados. Dessa forma, esta pesquisa tem como objetivo analisar o arquivista enquanto profissional empreendedor, que atua por meio da prestação de serviço, área que possui um campo de atuação consistente e amplo, que permeia a área pública e privada. A problemática estabelecida para esta pesquisa, apresenta-se a seguinte questão: Os atuais currículos dos cursos de graduação em Arquivologia contribuem para a formação de um profissional empreendedor? O objetivo geral desse estudo consiste em verificar se nas grades curriculares dos cursos de Arquivologia brasileiros existe a oferta de disciplina que tratem sobre empreendedorismo, uma vez que o papel do arquivista como profissional autônomo se apresenta como um profícuo campo de trabalho. Como procedimentos metodológicos, esta pesquisa apresenta-se como exploratória e descritiva com abordagem quantitativa. Para o desenvolvimento do corpus documental, utilizou-se uma revisão não sistemática da literatura a fim de apresentar o escopo teórico relacionado as temáticas apresentadas. Para verificar como [e se] a disciplina de empreendedorismo tem sido oferecida, foram analisadas as matrizes curriculares dos cursos de graduação em Arquivologia no Brasil. A fim de conhecer a percepção dos arquivistas sobre a necessidade de disciplinas que tratem sobre o empreendedorismo para contribuir com a formação profissional, foi desenvolvido e aplicado um questionário, utilizando formulário do Google forms para o público alvo da pesquisa. A pesquisa foi desenvolvida com a contribuição de 9 arquivistas que atuam como profissionais empreendedores. Como resultados a pesquisa demonstrou que apenas 05 Universidades ofertam disciplinas que abordam questões sobre o empreendedorismo.
