School and memory: a strategic approach to the optimization of secondary education based on Archival Science

Resumo: | This article examines the function of archival collections of the institution of secondary education in Sao Paulo and the new educational strategies through the Documentation Center and Memorial State School Otoniel Mota. It also highlights the importance of extension education to collaborate on projects parallel to the activities in the classroom. From the organization of documents in documentation centers and school memories, one can develop projects to enhance and preserve the history and its supporting materials, to collaborate in identity formation of young citizens. In this perspective, the study may influence the plans, strategies and actions taken by inserting intelligence units - documentation centers and memory - in the school Environment, offering a new reality of teaching and learning, which allows the entry of the responsible citizens society. |

También destaca la importancia de la extensión universitaria para colaborar con proyectos paralelos a las actividades presenciales. A partir de la organización de documentos en los centros escolares de documentación y memoria, se pueden desarrollar proyectos de valorización y salvaguarda de la historia y sus soportes materiales, con el fin de colaborar en la formación de la identidad de los jóvenes ciudadanos. En esa perspectiva, el estudio puede influir en los planes, estrategias y acciones adoptadas, insertando las Unidades de Información en el ambiente escolar, ofreciendo una nueva realidad de enseñanza y aprendizaje, que permita la entrada de ciudadanos responsables a la sociedad.Este artigo analisa a função dos acervos arquivísticos da instituição de ensino secundário paulista e as novas estratégias educacionais, através do Centro de Documentação e Memória da Escola Estadual Otoniel Mota. Evidencia ainda, a importância da extensão universitária para colaborar com os projetos paralelos às atividades em sala de aula. A partir da organização documental em centros de documentação e memória escolares, podem-se elaborar projetos para valorizar e salvaguardar a história e seus suportes materiais, a fim de colaborar na formação da identidade dos jovens cidadãos.
