Resumo: | The worry to assess the information Literacy is growing up on literature, which points out the need to verify the effectiveness of information literacy programs. In Brazil, the movement to de actions to assess is turn to the diagnostic line. There are few specific initiatives to assess the development of the programs, called formative assessment. Researchers of the area of education defend assess like a social practical that requires rigor and methods and confirmed that this can‟t be considered just like a measure. Before these aspects, approach to methods and tools for formative assessment of information literacy, the way in the instruments don‟t to be seeing like principal pieces in assess, but like auxiliary tools for the measurement of results and principal as school guiding that are useful for learning. |

En Brasil, el movimiento a favor de acciones dirigidas a la evaluación sigue la línea diagnóstica. Existen pocas iniciativas específicas para la evaluación a lo largo del desarrollo de los programas, denominada evaluación formativa. Los investigadores en el campo de la educación defienden la evaluación como una práctica social que requiere rigor y método y afirman que no debe ser considerada sólo como una medida. En vista de estos aspectos, se abordaron métodos e instrumentos para la evaluación formativa de la competencia informacional, de modo que los instrumentos no sean vistos como partes principales de la evaluación, sino como herramientas auxiliares para la medición de resultados y principalmente como guías didácticas que son útil el Aprender.A preocupação em avaliar a competência informacional é crescente na literatura, a qual aponta a necessidade de verificar a eficácia dos programas de competência informacional. No Brasil o movimento em prol de ações voltadas à avaliação segue a linha diagnóstica. São poucas as iniciativas específicas para a avaliação ao longo do desenvolvimento de programas, chamadas de avaliação formativa. Pesquisadores da área da educação defendem a avaliação como uma prática social que exige rigor e método e afirmam que não deve ser considerada apenas como uma medida.
