Non-user of information as implicated(tor): praxeological challenges for research, training and professional practice

Resumo: Considering the limitations of the concept of "information user", we aim to raise reflections on theoretical and conceptual challenges - and applied - in the scope of research, teaching and professional practice in units and entities of information mediation, considering the "non-user" as implicated in the mediation action. To do so, it is used, heuristically, the differentiation of paradigms of dominant and emerging science, as well as the distinction of paradigms of information. Complementarily, the categories "implicator(s)" and "implicated(s)" were used to situate the subjects in action. For the description of the theoretical diagnosis the concepts of "user", "subject" and "non-user" of information in contexts of "mediation" were worked on, where the use of "receptive" praxiologies in the context of the performance of researchers, professors and "contemporary" professionals in the area of information are inserted as a proposal. In the end, it is defended praxeological alternatives by means of "user and non-user studies", so that "information and community studies" can be carried out.

Para ello, se utiliza, heurísticamente, la diferenciación de paradigmas de la ciencia dominante y emergente, así como la distinción de paradigmas de la información. Además, se utilizaron las categorías "implicador(es)" e "implicado(s)" para situar a los sujetos en la acción. Para la descripción del diagnóstico teórico se trabajaron los conceptos de "usuario", "sujeto" y "no usuario" de la información en contextos de "mediación", donde se inserta, como propuesta, el empleo de praxiologías "receptivas" en el contexto de la actuación de investigadores, docentes y profesionales "contemporáneos" en el área de la información. Se defienden, al final, alternativas praxeológicas a través de la realización de "estudios de usuarios y no usuarios", para que se puedan realizar "estudios de información y comunidad".Considerando as limitações do conceito de “usuário de informação”, objetiva-se suscitar reflexões sobre desafios teórico-conceituais – e aplicados – no âmbito da pesquisa, do ensino e da prática profissional em unidades e entidades de mediação da informação, tendo em vista o “não-usuário” como implicado(r) na/da ação de mediação. Para tanto, emprega-se, heuristicamente, a diferenciação de paradigmas da ciência dominante e emergente, bem como a distinção dos paradigmas da informação. Complementarmente se utilizou das categorias “implicador(es)” e “implicado(s)” para situar os sujeitos em ação. Para a descrição do diagnóstico teórico foram trabalhados os conceitos “usuário”, “sujeito” e “não-usuário” de informação em contextos de “mediação”, onde se inserem, como proposta, o emprego de praxiologias “receptivas” no bojo da atuação de pesquisadores, de docentes e de profissionais “contemporâneos” à área de informação.
