Resumo: The study aims to demonstrate the problems encountered in the brazilian prison system, how the incorrect application of the penal laws generates direct effects on prisoners of Brazil, and analyze the extreme precariousness in which are left humans in prisons, individuals that are fitted with fundamental rights, which are intrinsic to humans. Its objective is also to demonstrate, in addition to the chaotic situation generally, the specific problem suffered by women who suffer with deprivation of liberty and are forced to develop every day, new strategies for coping with the prison to survive, because, due to the fact they possess certain special needs, and they are not being answered, it is necessary to use their imagination to have a life with the minimum of dignity.
