Implementation of handling pharmacies at public hospitals: a bibliographic review

Resumo: The study in question is the result of a deep bibliographic research that sought to identify in the scientific and pharmacological literature the possibility and feasibility of the implementation of Drug Manipulation Pharmacies inside the Public Hospitals in Brazil, in order to provide theoretical basis for discussion and also subsidies for the implementation of technical feasibility studies. Furthermore, issues such as the importance of the Unified Health System in guaranteeing the health of Brazilian citizens were discussed, as well as the defense of this system; the importance of the discussion about the implementation of compounding pharmacies in public hospitals; and the role of the professional in pharmacy in this and other fields of pharmacology. This is a bibliographical study with a dialectical approach. The research universe was the Indexed Platforms of Scientific Productions, such as Scielo and PubMed, the Capes Theses and Dissertations Platforms, as well as the academic search engine Google Scholar, due to its high capillarity in search mechanisms. In advance, a scarce scientific production on the subject is observed, but the possible reasons for this scenario are also identified. This study does not aim to end the discussion, but to expand and disseminate the knowledge built here, as well as to point out future research.

Para além disso, foram discutidas questões como a importância do Sistema Único de Saúde na garantia da saúde do cidadão brasileiro, bem como a defesa deste sistema; a importância da discussão sobre a implantação das farmácias de manipulação nos hospitais públicos; e a atuação do profissional em farmácia neste e em outros campos da farmacologia. Este estudo é de caráter bibliográfico com uma abordagem dialética. O universo da pesquisa foram as Plataformas Indexadas de Produções Científicas, como Scielo e PubMed, as Plataformas de Teses e Dissertações da Capes, bem como o buscador acadêmico Google Acadêmico, pela sua alta capilaridade nos mecanismos de buscas. Antecipadamente, observa-se uma escassa produção científica no tangente ao assunto, mas identifica-se também os possíveis motivos para o cenário.
