Resumo: | In recent years, the fight against corruption has been a recurring theme in Brazil. However, it is known that corruption has always been present in our society since its inception. In this context, in order to face corrupt business practices, it appears that Compliance, which originated in the United States and Brazil, has been increasingly implemented by organizations due to the promulgation of the Corporate Anti-Corruption Law. Compliance means fulfilling, fulfilling or satisfying a particular action, but goes far beyond just acting in accordance with the laws, but seeks to align with the pillars of the company, with the goal of achieving transparency, morality, honesty and ethics, both in the conduct of business, but in the actions of the whole team. In this way, it is essential for a company to establish an Integrity Program and a Compliance Program in order to avoid corrupt practices. The Integrity Program is a mechanism that understands good corporate governance in order to do what is right. The Compliance Program is one of the instruments of the Integrity Program and consists of doing what it takes. Communication is an extremely important factor in ensuring that these programs are effective, as well as in the creation of the brand, since it promotes information and contributes to general persuasion. Finally, it is necessary to understand the relevance of the Integrity Program and the Compliance Program at the time of a merger or incorporation of companies, since organizations that have pillars and opposing principles, when passing through the aforementioned processes, can suffer lethal consequences. |

Finally, it is necessary to understand the relevance of the Integrity Program and the Compliance Program at the time of a merger or incorporation of companies, since organizations that have pillars and opposing principles, when passing through the aforementioned processes, can suffer lethal consequences.
