Virtues and trends for indicators for evaluation of the Information Literacy, according to technical, aesthetic, ethical and political dimensions

Resumo: In this paper, the literature recommendations are presented as to "virtues" (characteristics and qualities of the parameters) and, as to "trends" (possibilities of applications and possible innovations to indicators), according to the dimensions of Information Literacy (technical, aesthetic, ethical and political). The contents obtained in the searches are grouped according to the technical dimension (results linked to Information and Communication Technology (ICT); the aesthetic dimension (results linked to emotion and innovation); the ethical dimension (results linked to critical reflection); and the political dimension (results linked to the collective, the social). Considering the data obtained from the bibliographic research carried out in the Scopus, Web of Science, ISTA and LISTA databases, some historical aspects were identified, as well as possibilities, virtues, and trends for indicators to evaluate Information Literacy. This is part of a research and some specific aspects, but they may be useful for the definition of parameters, guidelines, and frameworks. The opportunity and the responsibility to structure indicators for the evaluation of Information Literacy that integrate in a balanced way the technical, aesthetic, ethical and political dimensions, to produce subsidies for government public policies, presents itself - more than deserved - in times of profound misinformation.

Os conteúdos obtidos nas buscas estão agrupados quanto à dimensão técnica (resultados vinculados às Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação (TIC); à dimensão estética (resultados vinculados à emoção e inovação); à dimensão ética (resultados vinculados à reflexão crítica); à dimensão política (resultados vinculados ao coletivo, ao social). Considerando os dados obtidos na pesquisa bibliográfica realizada nas bases de dados Scopus, Web of Science, ISTA e LISTA, foram identificados alguns aspectos históricos e, também possibilidades, virtudes e tendências para indicadores de avaliação da Competência em Informação. Trata-se de um recorte de pesquisa e de alguns aspectos específicos, mas que podem ser úteis para a definição de parâmetros, diretrizes e frameworks.
