A pessoa bibliotecária como agente de combate à desinformação na área da Ciência da Informação

Resumo: Introduction: information science, being an interdisciplinary area, had as a milestone the technological revolution so that there were changes and advances in its scope. With all this opportunity, also recounting human interactivity, problems began to arise related to the misuse of information, causing the emergence of disinformation. Thus, the article provides a perspective of how the role of the librarian professional can occur in coping with this phenomenon. Methodology: a bibliographic survey was conducted that aimed to search for current works that showed the scenario of the themes mentioned. From this, a narrative review of the literature was made in order to contextualize the concepts from the perspective of different authors. Development: a broad view was obtained about how the technological evolutionary process of Information Science happened, until it reached the point of the existence of the problems that led to the phenomenon of disinformation and, finally, reaching the possibilities of the librarian's action in the face of this. Conclusion: the research concluded that the active participation of the librarian in the fight against disinformation is extremely important, since it has transformative potential through the mediation of information and education of users.

Con todo este aparato, apoyándose también en la interactividad humana, empezaron a surgir problemas relacionados con el mal uso de la información, provocando la aparición de la desinformación. Así, el artículo trae una perspectiva de cómo puede ocurrir el papel del profesional bibliotecario frente a este fenómeno. Metodología: se realizó un levantamiento bibliográfico con el objetivo de buscar trabajos actuales que mostraran el escenario de los temas mencionados. A partir de ello, se realizó una revisión narrativa de la literatura con el fin de contextualizar los conceptos desde la perspectiva de diferentes autores. Desarrollo: se obtuvo una visión amplia de cómo fue el proceso evolutivo tecnológico de las Ciencias de la Información, hasta llegar al punto de la existencia de los problemas que dieron lugar al fenómeno de la desinformación y, finalmente, llegar a las posibilidades de actuación del bibliotecario frente a de eso. Conclusión: la investigación concluyó que la participación activa del bibliotecario en el combate a la desinformación es de suma importancia, ya que tiene potencial transformador a través de la mediación de la información y la educación del usuario.Introdução: a ciência da informação, sendo uma área interdisciplinar, teve como marco a revolução tecnológica para que houvessem mudanças e avanços no seu âmbito. Com todo esse aparato, contando também com a interatividade humana, começaram a surgir problemas relacionados ao uso indevido da informação, ocasionando o surgimento da desinformação. Dessa forma, o artigo traz uma perspectiva de como pode ocorrer a atuação do profissional bibliotecário no enfrentamento desse fenômeno. Metodologia: foi feito levantamento bibliográfico que visou a busca por trabalhos atuais que mostrassem o cenário dos temas citados. A partir disso, foi feita uma revisão narrativa da literatura, a fim de contextualizar os conceitos sob a perspectiva de diferentes autores. Desenvolvimento: obteve-se uma visão ampla sobre como aconteceu o processo evolutivo tecnológico da Ciência da Informação, até chegar ao ponto da existência das problemáticas que levaram até o fenômeno da desinformação e, por fim, chegando nas possibilidades de atuação do bibliotecário frente a isso.
