Aims to present the catalog of the IBGE Library Network as a means of accessing the sustainable development goals indicators produced by the Institution to measure the scope of the UN 2030 Agenda in Brazil. Since IBGE’s Library Network is responsible for storing, preserving and disseminating institutional production, it will serve as the main link between the indicators produced and documented by IBGE and society, whose first access may be through the Library catalog. IBGE currently has twenty-nine units between Libraries and Reading Rooms scattered throughout the Brazilian capitals, thus forming its dissemination network. Considering the relevance of the catalog, the Central Library began and led from May 2017 onwards a process of migration of the catalog and collection management system, also encompassing the collection of the other units that make up the Network. In this context, representing the information produced by IBGE becomes a constant challenge, not only in characterizing information resources, individualizing them, but in gathering and relating them. Therefore, the key role played by librarians is highlighted, which in making decisions focused on catalog users can make information retrievable and accessible. Thus, it is perceived the social importance played by the catalog as a bridge of access between the citizen/user and public information that can transform their reality.
