Resumo: Este artigo desenvolve um modelo de equilíbrio com firmas heterogêneas no setor formal e informal que postam salários e trabalhadores que fazem on the job search. Os trabalhadores formais com salário menor ou igual a duas vezes o mínimo recebem abono salarial e o valor do benefício é de um doze avos do salário mínimo recebido mensalmente. A partir de análises de contrafactuais, mostro que o abono salarial não muda a alocação de trabalhadores entre os setores da economia e que o fim do benefício gera um aumento no salário médio mesmo sem a redução dos impostos sobre a folha de pagamento de firmas formais.
