O presente trabalho trata-se de uma pesquisa teórica e reflexiva a respeito da imprescindibilidade do pedagogo no ambiente hospitalar e sua contribuição no processo de humanização de sujeitos desse ambiente, a partir da visão da pedagogia humanizada dentro do contexto do hospital. O objetivo desse trabalho foi evidenciar a indispensabilidade do pedagogo no ambiente hospitalar, bem como as legislações que amparam tal prática, e os desafios para sua consolidação. O estudo foi realizado através da revisão bibliográfica, fundamentado em Brandão (2007), Ceccim (1999), Libâneo (2002), Matos e Mugiatti (2009), Oliveira (2001), entre outros, por meio de uma pesquisa documental (LDB-9394/96), (Constituição Federal de 1988) etc. Como resultado, notamos indícios teóricos que apontaram sobre a importância da contribuição do pedagogo na ambiência hospitalar, focada em uma perspectiva de atuação humanizadora. Palavras-chave: Pedagogo. Humanização. ABSTRACT The present work is a theoretical and reflective research about the indispensability of the pedagogue in the hospital environment and its contribution in the process of humanization of subjects of this environment, from the vision of the humanized pedagogy within the context of the hospital. The objective of this work was to highlight the indispensability of the pedagogue in the hospital environment, as well as the laws that support this practice, and the challenges for its consolidation. The study was carried out through a bibliographic review, based on Brandão (2007), Ceccim (1999), Libâneo (2002), Matos and Mugiatti (2009), Oliveira (2001), among others, through a documentary research (LDB- 9394/96), (Federal Constitution of 1988) etc. As a result, we noticed theoretical evidence that pointed to the importance of the pedagogue's contribution in the hospital environment, focused on a humanizing perspective of action. Keywords: Pedagogue.
