FULL-TIME SCHOOLS IN PERNAMBUCO: CURRICULUM IN DEBATE

Resumo: The article discusses the curricular concept that is present in the Program called  Reference School from the state of Pernambuco, whose objective is the implementation of full-time high schools. It covers about 40% (463) of the public schools in the state. For this analysis we used a methodological resource, a bibliographic research was carried out, which culminated in the identification of twelve academic works (theses and dissertations). We classified between optimistic perspectives (based on functionalist and human capital theory) and critical approaches (marxists). The first group praised the Program: the management of results and the developing the skills of individuals to enter the job market, following a corporate culture. On the other hand, Marxist works point out the contradictions of a formation that claims to be integral, but restricts itself to contributing to the reproduction of capitalism. KEYWORDS: Education. El cubre cerca del 40% (463) escuelas de la red estatal. Como recurso metodológico se realizó un levantamiento bibliográfico, que culminó con la identificación y análisis de doce trabajos académicos (tesis y disertaciones). Hicimos una clasificación, que distingue entre perspectivas optimistas (teoría funcionalista y del capital humano) y enfoques críticos (marxistas). El grupo de los primeros trabajos elogian al Programa por el uso de la gestión de resultados y por desarrollar las habilidades de las personas para insertarse en el mercado laboral, siguiendo una cultura corporativa. Por otra parte, las obras marxistas señalan las contradicciones de una formación que se pretende integral, pero se restringe a contribuir a la reproducción del capitalismo. Fizemos uma classificação que distingue entre perspectivas otimistas (funcionalistas e da teoria do capital humano) e abordagens críticas (marxistas). No primeiro grupo, elogiam o Programa pela gestão de resultados e por desenvolver competências dos indivíduos para se inserirem no mercado de trabalho, seguindo uma cultura empresarial.
