Resumo: | This article discusses the intersections between document preservation and the conduct of research and pedagogical activities at a memory center within the school environment, with a specific focus on the Center of Research, Documentation, and Memory of the Laboratory School of UFS (Cemdap). The main objective was to inquire about the establishment of the center and its collection, as well as the potential or outcomes of the activities that have been effectively carried out. The research falls within the field of the History of Education, particularly in the thematic area that explores issues related to archives, records, and memory centers in schools or in education, and the concept of educational historical heritage. Cemdap was established in 2016 as a result of actions to preserve the permanent documentary collection of the Laboratory School of UFS. Currently, the collection comprises documents of textual, audiovisual, iconographic, bibliographic, and material culture nature. Activities such as document organization, historiographic research, and pedagogical actions involving students from basic education, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels are conducted based on this collection. |

El objetivo principal fue investigar la constitución del centro, su colección y las potencialidades o resultados de las actividades llevadas a cabo. La investigación se ubica en el campo de la Historia de la Educación, particularmente en el eje temático que aborda cuestiones relacionadas con archivos, registros y centros de memoria en la educación, así como la noción de patrimonio histórico educativo. Cemdap se estableció en 2016 como resultado de acciones para preservar la colección documental permanente del Colegio de Aplicación de la UFS. Actualmente, la colección está compuesta por documentos de carácter textual, audiovisual, iconográfico, bibliográfico y material cultural. A partir de esta colección, se llevan a cabo actividades de organización de documentos, investigaciones historiográficas y acciones pedagógicas que involucran a estudiantes de educación básica, pregrado y posgrado.Este artigo discute as intersecções entre preservação documental e a realização de pesquisas e atividades pedagógicas em um centro de memória no espaço escolar, tomando como objeto específico o Centro de Pesquisa, Documentação e Memória do Colégio de Aplicação da UFS (Cemdap). O objetivo principal foi perquirir a respeito da constituição do centro e de seu acervo e as potencialidades ou resultados das atividades efetivamente desenvolvidas. A pesquisa está inserida na área da História da Educação, especialmente dentro do eixo temático que discute questões relacionadas com acervos, arquivos e centros de memória da escola ou da educação e a noção de patrimônio histórico educacional. O Cemdap foi constituído em 2016 como resultado de ações de preservação do acervo documental permanente do Colégio de Aplicação da UFS. Atualmente o acervo é formado por documentos de gênero textual, audiovisual, iconográfico, bibliográfico e cultura material.
