Resumo: The study discusses the "UFSC paperless" project developed by the Superintendence of Electronic Governance and Information Technology and Communication. The objective of the implantation of these project points changes between physical to digital document support on the digital integrated management system, implanted in the Federal University of Santa Catarina in October 18, 2010. It is an exploratory, descriptive and documentary research. Among results were performed 29,412 procedures in 2011 and 758 people trained. The findings indicate the need to study aspects of document preservation, management techniques and tools, apply the action planning and administrative procedures (tasks and activities) and insert the presence of the archivist. The preservation of documents aimed at ensuring access and fairness, responsiveness, reliability and the ability to document interoperability of the systems to meet the needs of university community.

O objetivo da implantação do respectivo projeto aponta a mudança de suporte físico para o digital do sistema digital de gestão integrada, implantado na Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina em 18 de outubro de 2010. Pesquisa exploratória, descritiva e documental. Entre os resultados destacam-se 29.412 processos efetuados em 2011 e 758 pessoas capacitadas. As conclusões indicam a necessidade de estudar aspectos da preservação documental, técnicas e instrumentos gestão, aplicar o planejamento e ações nos procedimentos administrativos (tarefas e atividades) e inserir a presença de atuação profissional do arquivista.
