Análise da Educação Ambiental no Currículo de Referência de Mato Grosso do Sul, construído a partir da BNCC

In order to investigate the inclusion of Environmental Education (EE) in the Mato Grosso do Sul State Curriculum of Reference, and its conceptions, as well as discussing the challenges for its implementation in public schools of the State, a content analysis of the document was carried out. In this course, it was highlighted that, despite the inexpressive participation of the school community in the preparation of the document, there is a progress regarding the inclusion of the theme in the Mato Grosso do Sul State Curriculum of Reference, in relation to National Common Curriculum Base (BNCC). In some areas of knowledge, the traditional patterns of Environmental Education were found, and in others it is possible to realize approaches from more recent currents. The implementation of critical EE, however, its necessary to expand the space for dialogue among educators, in order to promote reflection on pedagogical practices and, at the same time, overcome conservative EE.
