Resumo: | Critical Discourse Analysis promotes the articulation between language and society considering the possibility of social transformation from existing power structures. The training processes in environmental education are constituted as a social practice subject to academic investigation that materializes through social events such as the production of course conclusion works. In the corpus for this article, we investigated the environmental commitments and values of environmental education specialists present in their academic texts. Seven Course Conclusion Papers were analyzed with emerging themes in the field of Environmental Education that allowed to reveal commitments to the territories and local environmental issues in texts that assume commitments to social transformation. Values of environmental preservation in dialogue with traditions and cultures marked the texts. The identification of environmental education with sustainability is reaffirmed. However, ways of identification with contemporary sustainability policies were not observed. |

Los procesos de formación en educación ambiental se constituyen como una práctica social sujeta a investigación académica que se materializa a través de eventos sociales como la elaboración de tesis de final de grado. En el corpus de este artículo investigamos los compromisos y valores ambientales de los especialistas en educación ambiental presentes en sus textos académicos. Se analizaron siete tesis con temáticas emergentes en el campo de la Educación Ambiental, que permitieron develar compromisos con los territorios y las cuestiones ambientales locales en textos que asumen compromisos de transformación social. Valores de preservación ambiental en diálogo con tradiciones y culturas marcaron los textos. Se reafirma la identificación de la educación ambiental con la sustentabilidad. Sin embargo, no se observaron formas de identificación con las políticas de sustentabilidad contemporáneas.A Análise Crítica do Discurso promove a articulação entre linguagem e sociedade considerando a possibilidade de transformação social a partir das estruturas de poder existentes. Os processos de formação em educação ambiental se constituem como uma prática social passível de investigação acadêmica que se materializa por meio de eventos sociais como a produção de trabalhos de conclusão de curso. No corpus desse artigo, investigamos os compromissos e valores ambientais de especialistas em educação ambiental presentes nos seus textos acadêmicos. Foram analisados sete Trabalhos de Conclusão de Curso com temas emergentes no campo da educação ambiental que permitiram identificar compromissos com os territórios e problemáticas ambientais locais em textos comprometidos com a transformação social. Valores de preservação ambiental em diálogo com as tradições e com as culturas marcaram os textos. Reafirma-se comprometimentos da educação ambiental com a sustentabilidade.
