Resumo: A necessidade da reflexão sobre o papel do educador universitário nos faz questionar o modelo de formação, buscando, no pensamento reflexivo sobre a racionalidade humana, um novo modo de ver, perceber e atuar na formação destes profissionais. Essa empreitada aponta a teoria comunicativa de Jürgen Habermas, norteando uma ação educativa de cunho trans disciplinar, à qual se somam teóricos que permitem tal aproximação.Palavras-chave: Educador Universitário. Transdisciplinaridade. Teoria Comunicativa.
