Resumo: Debates regarding the production of an agender fashion are effervescent, both in the industrial and academic-scientific fields. Therefore, this paper investigates the context and meaning of the visual elements found in two agender fashion collections, specifically, the “Cor de Pele” collections by Dendezeiros and “Onda Poderosa” by SejaWind, seeking to elucidate characteristics that communicate the non-binarity of gender in pieces listed. To this end, this research has an applied nature, of the quanti-qualitative type, with an exploratory-descriptive approach. As a technical procedure, a semiotic analysis was carried out, explicitly seeking to investigate the pragmatic dimension of the selected artefacts, interpreting the elements decoded by analytical research on a historical basis. Regarding the main results, it was found that the presence of products that tend to challenge the current social standards of gender, being, therefore, a direct relationship between the garment and the body of the person who wears it; and others that are marketed as genderless but do not present attributes, neither on its formgiven nor market configuration, that corroborates such intentionality. It can be concluded that the primary levels of consumer relationship with agender products are psychological and sociological, given the aesthetic appeal and the search for breaking sociocultural paradigms of gender.
