The essay brings together music, philosophy and pedagogy in times of a pandemic to affirm poetic listening as a power for the production of meanings based on the meeting of the research groups Escuta Poética and Estudos Poéticos: Educação e Linguagem with Brazilian music and Basic Education. The virtual encounters were woven by conversation as a thought experience that emerged in the methodological path of poetic listening between academics, teachers and researchers in the virtual room. The pandemic distance allowed for the approximation and strengthening of the groups study times, marked by the composition of narratives produced playfully in resonance with the indigenous-luso-african imaginary in public school. In this intertwining process of perceptions and sensibilities, different territories and languages emerge with vital force by favoring possibilities of resounding life in times of disenchantment. A time of invitation to listen as an opening to the plural singularity of composing poetics as music in performance: Rasante and Pandemia knocks on the door.
