This work is an excerpt of a Philosophy Doctorate (phD) thesis which aims to understand how media experience, articulated to other communicational processes, act in the constitution of gender identities and political and citizen formation of transvestite and transsexual women. Parting from an interdisciplinary (trans)methodological proposal, it is sought the media and political references of these women to comprehend how they form their repertory of fight, resistance and political and citizen position. From dialogues with these interlocutors, are problematized theoretical reflections about Gender and Transgender, in a post-structuralism look related to power; necrobiopower, thought as a governmental political project that chooses who lives and who dies; communicative reception; and communicative citizenship, as part of the subjects and as a space of recognition, demand and fight. It is taken into account the Brazilian and Rio Grande do Sul context, thinking how they dialogue and diverge in the constitution of Gender, in the recognition of transgender people in media spaces and political representativeness, as well as the crossings with the digital spaces and technologies as dimensions of fight and visibility. Lastly, it is reflected the possibility of constructing a concept of transcommunicative citizenship, from the data collected in the semi-structured interviews with three transvestite and transsexual interlocutors and the theoretic-epistemological reflections.
