Resumo: Immunology emerges as a protagonist in understanding autoimmune diseases of the endocrine system. Autoimmune diseases represent a significant challenge, as they involve an immune response that, instead of protecting the body, is mistakenly directed against its own cells and tissues. In the context of the endocrine system, where hormones play a crucial role in regulating diverse bodily functions, autoimmune manifestations introduce an additional layer of complexity. Objective: This article proposes a comprehensive exploration of endocrine diseases, highlighting not only the physiological foundations but also clinical challenges and therapeutic innovations. Methodology: The research was carried out through online access in the Scientific Electronic Library Online (SCIELO), PubMed, Latin American Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS). in the month of January 2024. Analytical reading of the articles with the theme of the theme was carried out, upon reading the articles were subjected to inclusion and exclusion criteria, within the inclusion criteria original articles were considered, which addressed the researched topic and allowed full access to the study content, published between 2015 and 2023, in Portuguese and English. Results and Discussions: The results obtained in this investigation reveal a complex panorama of the interactions between the immune system and autoimmune diseases of the endocrine system. In-depth analysis of the collected samples highlights specific immune response patterns that directly correlate with the manifestation of these pathologies. When examining the data, there is clear evidence of immune dysfunction, reflected in autoimmune responses directed against endocrine glands. The presence of specific markers and changes in molecular profiles supports the hypothesis that the immune system plays a central role in the etiology of these conditions. The discussion of these results contextualizes the findings in the current scientific scenario, comparing them with previous studies and highlighting divergences or convergences. A clearer understanding of the underlying immunological mechanisms allows us to speculate on possible therapeutic strategies. Conclusion: Challenging immunology proves to be fundamental for understanding autoimmune diseases that affect the endocrine system. By exploring in depth, the complex interactions between the immune system and endocrine glands, this study contributes significantly to the understanding of these pathologies. The results clearly demonstrate the preponderant influence of the immune system on the manifestations of these diseases, suggesting promising therapeutic targets. Meticulous data analysis highlights consistent patterns of autoimmune response, providing valuable insights for future investigations and clinical interventions.

Specialized Dentistry Group2024-02-07info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/article/view/143010.36557/2674-8169.2024v6n2p724-745Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; Vol. 6 No. 2 (2024): BJIHS QUALIS B3; 724-745Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; Vol. 6 Núm. 2 (2024): BJIHS QUALIS B3; 724-745Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; v. 6 n. 2 (2024): BJIHS QUALIS B3; 724-7452674-8169reponame:Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciencesinstname:Grupo de Odontologia Especializada (GOE)instacron:GOEporhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/article/view/1430/1611Copyright (c) 2024 Ítalo Íris Boiba Rodrigues da Cunha, Keit Maciel da Gama, Álvaro Sanataniel Pereira dos Santos , Nicole Mendonça Fernandes Coelho, Ana Luiza Pereira de Aguiar , Vinícius de Lima Santana, Keila Cristiane Batista do Valle, Ytafaella Oliveira Santana , Lívia Fernanda Sousa de Melo , Daniel Pereira Pio Suwa, Alexandre Felipe Bastos Sampaio , Helcio Cavalcante Barbosa https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessCunha, Ítalo Íris Boiba Rodrigues daGama, Keit Maciel daSantos , Álvaro Sanataniel Pereira dosCoelho, Nicole Mendonça FernandesAguiar , Ana Luiza Pereira deSantana, Vinícius de LimaValle, Keila Cristiane Batista doSantana , Ytafaella OliveiraMelo , Lívia Fernanda Sousa deSuwa, Daniel Pereira PioSampaio , Alexandre Felipe BastosBarbosa , Helcio Cavalcante2024-03-06T23:33:41Zoai:ojs.bjihs.emnuvens.com.br:article/1430Revistahttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihsONGhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/oaijournal.bjihs@periodicosbrasil.com.br2674-81692674-8169opendoar:2024-03-06T23:33:41Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences - Grupo de Odontologia Especializada (GOE)false
