The perception of professors in the health area after immersion in the context of social responsibility and minorities: An experience report

Resumo: In this article, we intend to raise reflections on the discussion of social responsibility in health education taking into account minorities, such as LGBTQIA+ populations, traditional populations and the physically disabled. This whole theme was discussed based on interprofessionality. For this, an experience report was made on the perception of professors in the health area after participation in a discipline on Health Education in the Amazon and Social Responsibility, with the participation of health professionals, with diverse areas of activity (medicine, nursing, physiotherapy, psychology, dentistry), being held at the University of the State of Pará, October 2022. Based on the critical observation of the demands raised during the course, the experience allowed to know the peculiarities of the groups discussed and the need to take this theme to teaching in medical graduation, with the planning of making it part of the pedagogical political project of the medical course as a mandatory module, contributing to a better training of the medical professional. In addition, to encourage the academic community to carry out extension projects that cover minorities, contributing to the growth of the social role of HEIs.

Todo este tema fue discutido en base a la interprofesionalidad. Para ello, se realizó un informe de experiencia sobre la percepción de profesores del área de la salud después de la participación en una disciplina sobre Educación en Salud en la Amazonía y Responsabilidad Social, con la participación de profesionales de la salud, con diversas áreas de actividad (medicina, enfermería, fisioterapia, psicología, odontología), realizándose en la Universidad del Estado de Pará, en octubre de 2022. A partir de la observación crítica de las demandas planteadas durante el curso, la experiencia permitió conocer las peculiaridades de los grupos discutidos y la necesidad de llevar este tema a la enseñanza en la graduación médica, con la planificación de hacerlo parte del proyecto político pedagógico del curso de medicina como módulo obligatorio, contribuyendo para una mejor formación del profesional médico. Además, alentar a la comunidad académica a llevar a cabo proyectos de extensión que cubran a las minorías, contribuyendo al crecimiento del papel social de las IES.Neste artigo, pretende-se levantar reflexões sobre a discussão da responsabilidade social no ensino em saúde levando em consideração as minorias, como as populações LGBTQIA+, populações tradicionais e deficientes físicas. Toda essa temática foi discutida tendo como base a interprofissionalidade. Para isso, foi feito um relato de experiência sobre a percepção de docentes da área da saúde após participação em uma disciplina sobre Educação em Saúde na Amazônia e a Responsabilidade Social, com participação de profissionais da saúde, com áreas de atuação diversas (medicina, enfermagem, fisioterapia, psicologia, odontologia), sendo realizado na Universidade do Estado do Pará, em outubro de 2022. Com base na observação crítica das demandas levantadas durante a disciplina, a experiência permitiu conhecer as peculiaridades dos grupos discutidos e a necessidade de levar essa temática para o ensino na graduação médica, com o planejamento de torná-la parte do projeto político pedagógico do curso de medicina como módulo obrigatório, contribuindo para uma melhor formação do profissional médico.
