Digital platforms in the COVID-19 pandemic as an implement of teaching and production of teaching material

Resumo: The COVID-19 pandemic has become a Public Health Emergency of International Importance, that created significant consequences in the basic, technic, technological and superior education. In view of this scenario, some adaptations have been needed in the teaching-learning method, so that the students would not be harmed in this moment of presential activities restriction. Thereby, the Technical School in Health (ESTES) of Federal University of Uberlandia (UFU), besides using various methodologies and online platforms to teach the classes, has published a notice in partnership with the Dentistry School of UFU (FOUFU) of a monitoring and pedagogical aid to the Anatomy, Sculpture and Occlusion discipline of the Technical Course in Dental Prosthesis (CTPD). The fellowship students of the project had used various digital platforms for the confection of teaching materials in order to help the CTPD/ESTES/UFU students. These materials produced by the project fellowships were passed along to the CTPD students, being available for download and future studies, contributing for their upbringing. Thus, the using of digital platforms during the remote teaching period has contributed for an improve in the teacher-student integration and to enhance the teaching-learning methods.

Ante este escenario, se han necesitado algunas adaptaciones en el método de enseñanza-aprendizaje, para que los estudiantes no se vean perjudicados en este momento de restricción de actividades presenciales. Así, la Escuela Técnica en Salud (ESTES) de la Universidad Federal de Uberlandia (UFU), además de utilizar diversas metodologías y plataformas en línea para impartir las clases, ha publicado un aviso en alianza con la Facultad de Odontología de la UFU (FOUFU) de un seguimiento y ayuda pedagógica a la disciplina Anatomía, Escultura y Oclusión del Curso Técnico en Prótesis Dental (CTPD). Los becarios del proyecto habían utilizado diversas plataformas digitales para la confección de materiales didácticos con el fin de ayudar a los estudiantes de la CTPD/ESTES/UFU. Estos materiales producidos por las becas del proyecto fueron pasados ​​a los estudiantes del CTPD, estando disponibles para su descarga y futuros estudios, contribuyendo para su formación. Así, el uso de plataformas digitales durante el periodo de enseñanza a distancia ha contribuido a mejorar la integración docente-alumno y a potenciar los métodos de enseñanza-aprendizaje.A pandemia da COVID-19 se tornou uma Emergência de Saúde Pública de Importância Internacional, que gerou consequências importantes na educação básica, técnica, tecnológica e superior. Tendo em vista esse cenário, algumas adaptações foram necessárias no método ensino-aprendizado, para que os alunos não ficassem prejudicados neste momento de restrição de atividades presenciais. Assim, a Escola Técnica em Saúde (ESTES) da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (UFU), além de utilizar variadas metodologias e plataformas online para ministrar as aulas, publicou um edital em parceria com a Faculdade de Odontologia da UFU (FOUFU) para um programa de monitoria e auxílio pedagógico à disciplina de Anatomia, Escultura e Oclusão do Curso Técnico em Prótese Dentária (CTPD). Os alunos  bolsistas do projeto utilizaram de diversas plataformas digitais para a confecção de materiais didáticos a fim de auxiliar os estudos dos alunos do CTPD/ESTES/UFU. Esses materiais produzidos pelos bolsistas do projeto foram repassados aos alunos do CTPD, sendo disponibilizados para download e futuros estudos, contribuindo para sua formação.
