Resumo: | This study aims at describing the clinical-epidemiological profile of people infected by HIV/AIDS attended by the Municipal Service of Specialized Assistance. A descriptive retrospective study was conducted with data collected in reports of 125 people follow-up by the health center. The data were described proportionally. Most patients were men (61.6%), 20 to 39 years old (37.6%), black-skinned (93.5%), single, divorced, or widower people (50.4%), and heterosexual (60.0%). Tuberculosis was the most frequent coinfection (9.6%), and syphilis was the illness most present beyond the coinfections history (28.8%). Among the patients, 48.4% took longer to search for treatment. Most of them were not addicted to drugs (76.0%). This study concluded that the clinical-epidemiological profile is predominantly compound by men, between 20 to 39 years old, black-skinned ones, single, divorced or widower, heterosexual, and not addicted to drugs. Young adults had a higher occurrence of therapeutic failure and most were treated early. |
