Resumo: | This study aimed to analyze the management of AIDS cases in Humaitá, Amazonas, in the period from 2010 to 2019. It is a descriptive epidemiological study, carried out in a cross-sectional and quantitative approach through the records of people living with AIDS, accessible from the Ministry of Health's Indicators Panel and management tools from the municipality. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis in the Microsoft Excel program. It was found that the highest rate of case detection (29 cases/100 thousand inhab.) And gross mortality (5.4 deaths) were recorded in 2019; in pregnant women in 2014 (4.1 cases/ 100,000 inhab.) and in children under 5 years old in 2012 (20 cases/ 100,000 inhab.). There was a predominance of AIDS cases in men (63%), brown (76.1%), with complete high school (20.7%) and the category of exposure among males aged 13 years or over through heterosexual intercourse (53.6%). The actions and strategies are similar and are repeated over the years, involving the expansion of the Family Health Strategy, in addition to the CTA for screening by rapid testing, but without including the prevention of vertical transmission and / or monitoring of children under 5 years. In view of these findings, the importance of decentralized actions for prevention, the strengthening of strategies for monitoring cases, the structuring of the SAE, the provision of a complete multidisciplinary team, in addition to the involvement and inclusion of different actors in planning for the disease control. |

Se trata de un estudio epidemiológico descriptivo, realizado en un enfoque transversal y cuantitativo a través de los registros de personas viviendo con SIDA, accesibles en el Panel de Indicadores del Ministerio de Salud y herramientas de gestión del municipio. Los datos se analizaron mediante análisis estadístico descriptivo en el programa Microsoft Excel. Se encontró que la mayor tasa de detección de casos (29 casos / 100 mil hab.) y mortalidad bruta (5,4 defunciones) se registró en 2019; en mujeres embarazadas en 2014 (4,1 casos / 100.000 hab.) y en niños menores de 5 años en 2012 (20 casos / 100.000 hab.). Hubo predominio de casos de SIDA en hombres (63%), morenos (76,1%), con bachillerato completo (20,7%) y la categoría de exposición entre varones de 13 años o más por coito heterosexual (53,6%). As ações e estratégias são semelhantes e se repetem ao longo dos anos, envolvendo a ampliação da Estratégia de Saúde da Família, além do CTA para o rastreamento pela testagem rápida, porém sem incluir a prevenção da transmissão vertical e/ ou acompanhamento de crianças menores de 5 años. Ante estos hallazgos, la importancia de las acciones descentralizadas de prevención, el fortalecimiento de las estrategias de seguimiento de los casos, la estructuración del SAE, la dotación de un completo equipo multidisciplinario, además de la implicación e inclusión de los diferentes actores en la planificación de la control de enfermedades.Este estudo teve como objetivo analisar a gestão dos casos de aids em Humaitá, Amazonas, no período de 2010 a 2019. Trata-se de um estudo epidemiológico descritivo, realizado de forma transversal e abordagem quantitativa por meio dos registros das pessoas vivendo com aids, acessíveis no Painel de Indicadores do Ministério da Saúde e instrumentos de gestão do município. Os dados foram analisados por meio de análise estatística descritiva no programa Microsoft Excel. Verificou-se que a maior taxa de detecção de casos (29 casos/100 mil hab.) e bruta de mortalidade (5,4 óbitos) foram registradas em 2019; em gestantes em 2014 (4,1 casos/ 100.000 hab.) e em crianças menores de 5 anos em 2012 (20 casos/ 100.000 hab.). Houve predomínio dos casos de aids em homens (63%), pardos (76,1%), com ensino médio completo (20,7%) e a categoria de exposição entre o sexo masculino com 13 anos ou mais por meio da relação heterossexual (53,6%). As ações e estratégias são semelhantes e se repetem ao longo dos anos, envolvendo a ampliação da Estratégia de Saúde da Família, além do CTA para o rastreamento pela testagem rápida, porém sem incluir a prevenção da transmissão vertical e/ ou acompanhamento de crianças menores de 5 anos.
