GCompris software as a didactic resource in the teaching-learning process of Mathematics: investigations in the continuing education of teachers in the Municipal network in Cametá/PA

Resumo: This work presents some considerations, resulting from observations and interviews performed during the training execution in educational softwares, offered by an extension project developed at Pará Federal University, Tocantins-Cametá Campus, Pará state, thesetrainings, offered as workshops to students and mini-courses to basic school professors, aiming to build skills and competences when educational technologies are used, emphasizing on mathematics teaching and learning. Among the software used, GCompris hasstood out among the students. GCompris is an educational free software multiplatform composed by dozens of play activities involving several knowledge areas and developed to be used as a didactic resource to teach and learn in Early Childhood Education and in the Elementary School early years. In this work, we present the research results performed with teachers about: knowledge level in digital technologies, access to technological infrastructure inside schools, satisfaction with the mini-courses offered by the project and their impressions about the GCompris when used as a teaching resource in teaching learning math process. The acquired results show that, although there are still many blank spaces in training and infrastructure deficiency to implement ofteaching methodologies involving digital technologies in the municipal schools, on the other hand, there is a lot of openness and willingness on the part of teachers to use of these tools in their practices in schools

Essas capacitações, ofertadas na forma de oficinas para alunos e minicursos para professores da escola básica, têm como objetivo trabalhar competências e habilidades na utilização de tecnologias educacionais, com ênfase no ensino e aprendizagem da Matemática. Dentre os softwares utilizados o GCompris tem se destacado entre os cursistas. O GCompris é um software livre educacional multiplataforma composto de dezenas de atividades lúdicas em várias áreas do conhecimento e desenvolvido para ser utilizado como recurso didático para o ensino e aprendizagem na Educação Infantil e nos anos iniciais do Ensino Fundamental. Neste trabalho, apresentamos os resultados de uma pesquisa realizada com os professores sobre: nível de conhecimento em tecnologias digitais, acesso a infraestrutura tecnológica nas escolas, satisfação com os minicursos ofertados pelo projeto e suas impressões sobre a utilização do GCompris como um recurso didático no ensino e aprendizagem da matemática.
