A problem-solving experience using the Photomath application in a collaborative way

A study was carried out on the insertion of the Photomath application, in a collaborative scheme among students, in solving problems for the learning of polynomial functions of the 2nd degree. With this methodological proposal, it was sought to enable more effective learning, generating a better appropriation of the contents by the students. The problems addressed are presented in a contextualized and interdisciplinary way, to motivate students. The approach adopted is empirical-analytical, following a research modality with theoretical studies on the aforementioned topic. Measurement instruments were used in the present proposal, presenting qualitative and quantitative data. In this sense, this experience involved two classes in the third grade of high school in a public school, in one of which the conventional way of teaching was maintained and in the other, a contemporary approach was chosen with the use of technological resources and with the division class in small groups.
