A problem-solving experience using the Photomath application in a collaborative way

Resumo: A study was carried out on the insertion of the Photomath application, in a collaborative scheme among students, in solving problems for the learning of polynomial functions of the 2nd degree. With this methodological proposal, it was sought to enable more effective learning, generating a better appropriation of the contents by the students. The problems addressed are presented in a contextualized and interdisciplinary way, to motivate students. The approach adopted is empirical-analytical, following a research modality with theoretical studies on the aforementioned topic. Measurement instruments were used in the present proposal, presenting qualitative and quantitative data. In this sense, this experience involved two classes in the third grade of high school in a public school, in one of which the conventional way of teaching was maintained and in the other, a contemporary approach was chosen with the use of technological resources and with the division class in small groups.

Con esta propuesta metodológica se buscó favorecer un aprendizaje más efectivo, generando una mejor apropiación de los contenidos por parte de los estudiantes. Los problemas abordados se presentan de manera contextualizada e interdisciplinaria, con el fin de motivar a los estudiantes. El enfoque adoptado es empírico-analítico, siguiendo una modalidad de investigación con estudios teóricos sobre el tema mencionado. En la presente propuesta se utilizaron instrumentos de medición, presentando datos cualitativos y cuantitativos. En ese sentido, esta experiencia involucró dos clases del tercer año de secundaria en una escuela pública, en una de las cuales se mantuvo la forma convencional de enseñar y en la otra se optó por un enfoque contemporáneo con el uso de recursos tecnológicos y con la división de la clase en pequeños grupos.  Foi realizado um estudo sobre a inserção do aplicativo Photomath, em um esquema colaborativo entre os alunos, na resolução de problemas para a aprendizagem de funções polinomiais do 2º grau. Com esta proposta metodológica, procurou-se viabilizar uma aprendizagem mais efetiva, gerando uma melhor apropriação dos conteúdos por parte dos alunos. Os problemas são apresentados de forma contextualizada e interdisciplinar, de maneira a motivá-los. A abordagem adotada é empírico-analítica, seguindo uma modalidade de pesquisa com estudos teóricos sobre o referido tema. Foram utilizados instrumentos de mensuração sobre a presente proposta, apresentando dados qualitativos e quantitativos.
