Interdisciplinarity in professional education at the Reserve Officers Preparation Center of the 9th Logistic Battalion

Resumo: This paper analyzes the use of interdisciplinarity in the Brazilian Army's professional education as a methodology to accelerate and improve the training of students on complex technical issues. Search to identifies the relevance of the use of models in the classroom and of interdisciplinarity for the contextualization and defragmentation of professional education. It was carried out through a literature review, questionnaire application and a field study. The results indicate that the use of models enabled the integration between theory and practice; the contextualization provided by professional education and, mainly, the use of interdisciplinarity, led to a better understanding of technical subjects, providing a more complete education of the student. Regarding the use of models, the students agreed that they served to improve the understanding of subjects and to improve learning.

Identifica a relevância do emprego de modelos em sala de aula e da interdisciplinaridade para a contextualização e desfragmentação do ensino profissional. É realizado por meio de uma revisão bibliográfica, aplicação de questionário e de um estudo de campo. Os resultados indicam que o uso de modelos oportunizou a integração entre a teoria e a prática; a contextualização proporcionada pelo ensino profissional e, principalmente, o emprego da interdisciplinaridade, levaram a uma melhor compreensão dos assuntos técnicos, proporcionando uma formação mais completa do aluno.
