The Portuguese language in Vocational and Technological Education: a proposal for teaching the textual genre practical class report in PROEJA

Resumo: This paper aims to present a teaching proposal for the text genre practical class report to be developed in technical high school of the National Program for the Integration of Professional Education and Basic Education in Youth and Adult Education (PROEJA). In our theoretical-methodological bases, we dialogue with the perspective of multiliteracies (KLEIMAN, 2012), the concept of Text Genres (BAKHTIN, 1997) and PROEJA curriculum (MOLL, 2010) to conduct a qualitative and exploratory research. The analysis of the Pedagogical Course Project (PPC) (IFRN, 2012), the curriculum and the syllabus led us to design a complementary teaching proposal to the Portuguese course with 20 hours of reading, analysis, writing and rewriting of the technical-scientific text genre that assists in the training of students in the context of professional and technological education. We conclude that the text genre report should be an object of explicit teaching and learning, because they are often used by teachers from integrated technical courses, as well as they are a demand of the PPC itself which establishes as the final product of the student’s professional practice the production of an internship or technical-scientific report.

Em nossas bases teórico-metodológicas, dialogamos com a perspectiva dos multiletramentos (KLEIMAN, 2012), com o conceito de Gêneros Textuais (BAKHTIN, 1997) e com o currículo do PROEJA (MOLL, 2010) para realizarmos uma pesquisa de cunho qualitativo e exploratório. A análise do Projeto Pedagógico de Curso (PPC) (IFRN, 2012), da matriz curricular e do programa de disciplinas nos levou ao desenho de uma proposta de ensino complementar à disciplina de Língua Portuguesa com 20h de atividades de leitura, análise, produção e refazimento do gênero técnico-científico que auxilia na formação dos alunos inseridos no contexto da educação profissional e tecnológica.
