Resumo: It is with great satisfaction that we present the [re]Design journal, the newest journal of the Federal Institute of Maranhão, which addresses unpublished studies and interdisciplinary links to the fields of Architecture, Arts and Design. With a feeling of victory for having come this far, we present this first edition in which the first steps towards approximation and dissemination of scientific dissemination around inclusion and accessibility practices were taken. Because we believe it is possible to approach and reach new audiences, a multidisciplinary and diverse team took action to incorporate audio description into the journal's communication and scientific content. There were long hours of exchanging experiences and learning to describe the imagery content of each of the articles.

Con sentimiento de victoria por haber llegado hasta aquí, presentamos esta primera edición en la que se dieron los primeros pasos hacia la aproximación y difusión de la divulgación científica en torno a las prácticas de inclusión y accesibilidad. Porque creemos que es posible acercarse y llegar a nuevos públicos, un equipo multidisciplinar y diverso se puso manos a la obra para incorporar la audio descripción en los contenidos comunicativos y científicos de la revista. Fueron largas horas de intercambio de experiencias y de aprendizaje para describir el contenido imaginario de cada uno de los artículos.É com muita satisfação que apresentamos a revista [re]Design, o mais novo periódico do Instituto Federal do Maranhão, que aborda estudos inéditos e ligados interdisciplinarmente aos campos da Arquitetura, Artes e Design. Com sentimento de vitória por termos chegado até aqui, apresentamos esta primeira edição, na qual os primeiros passos de aproximação e disseminação da divulgação científica em torno de práticas de inclusão e acessibilidade foram dados. Por acreditarmos que é possível nos aproximarmos e alcançarmos novos públicos, uma equipe multidisciplinar e diversa entrou em ação para incorporar a audiodescrição à comunicação e ao conteúdo científico da revista.
