Integrate, Learn, Grow: study planning and professional development workshops at the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina - Tubarão campus

Resumo: | This article presents the experience report of the teaching project “Integrating, Learning, Growing: study planning and professional development workshops at the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina - Tubarão campus”, composed of a set of workshops that aim to increase the permanence and students' success, as well as the fight against dropout and retention, by increasing the effectiveness of study time and professional guidance. The project was planned and executed from July to December 2018. In this sense, two dimensions were worked on by the workshops: the first concerns the methods, techniques and tools used by students in their study times. The second refers to professional preparation, demonstrating the relationship between academic and professional performance. The integration of themes is necessary in the sense of the complexity of dealing with evasion and retention, through the involvement of the internal and external community of the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina - Tubarão campus. At the end of the project, it is concluded that the objectives were achieved and approximately 120 students were met in the activities performed. |

El proyecto fue planificado y ejecutado de julio a diciembre de 2018. En este sentido, los talleres trabajaron dos dimensiones: la primera se refiere a los métodos, técnicas y herramientas que utilizan los estudiantes en sus tiempos de estudio. El segundo se refiere a la preparación profesional, demostrando la relación entre el desempeño académico y el profesional. La integración de los temas es necesaria en el sentido de la complejidad de tratar la evasión y la retención, a través de la participación de la comunidad interna y externa del Instituto Federal de Santa Catarina - campus Tubarão. Al finalizar el proyecto se concluye que se lograron los objetivos y se cumplió con aproximadamente 120 estudiantes en las actividades realizadas.Este artigo apresenta o relato de experiência do projeto de ensino “Integrar, Aprender, Crescer: oficinas de planejamento de estudos e desenvolvimento profissional no Instituto Federal de Santa Catarina - câmpus Tubarão”, composto por um conjunto de oficinas que visam à elevação da permanência e êxito dos discentes, bem como o combate à evasão e retenção, por meio do aumento da efetividade do tempo de estudo e a orientação profissional. O projeto foi planejado e executado de julho a dezembro de 2018. Nesse sentido, duas dimensões foram trabalhadas pelas oficinas: a primeira diz respeito aos métodos, técnicas e ferramentas utilizadas pelos discentes em seus tempos de estudo. A segunda, refere-se a preparação profissional, demonstrando a relação entre desempenho acadêmico e profissional. A integração das temáticas faz-se necessária no sentido da complexidade do enfrentamento à evasão e retenção, por meio do envolvimento da comunidade interna e externa do Instituto Federal de Santa Catarina – câmpus Tubarão.
