Literature and multidisciplinarity: literary reading as an integrating educational practice

Resumo: | It is known that reading is essential for accessing knowledge and understanding the world around us. Literature, in turn, plays an equally significant role by contributing to the cultural and intellectual development of individuals and allowing us to reflect on human diversity through the social issues addressed in literary works. In schools, it is essential to promote literary reading as an integral part of students' overall development, going beyond the subjects of Portuguese Language and Literature. This article aims to explore the connection between literature and multidisciplinarity, highlighting the importance of promoting literary reading as a responsibility shared by various areas of knowledge. To achieve this, we have reviewed studies by authors such as Cândido (2004), Silva (2020), Mortatti (2018), and Martins (1997), among others. Therefore, we hope to contribute to the dissemination and appreciation of literary reading as an educational practice that combines multidisciplinary knowledge with the aesthetic appreciation of literary works. |

La literatura, a su vez, desempeña un papel igualmente significativo al contribuir a la formación cultural e intelectual de las personas, y nos permite reflexionar sobre la diversidad humana a través de las cuestiones sociales abordadas en las obras literarias. En la escuela, es fundamental promover la lectura literaria como parte integral del desarrollo de los estudiantes, trascendiendo las asignaturas de Lengua Portuguesa y Literatura. Por lo tanto, este artículo busca explorar la conexión entre la literatura y la multidisciplinaridad, destacando la importancia de fomentar la lectura literaria como una responsabilidad compartida por diversas áreas del conocimiento. Para ello, revisamos estudios de autores como Cândido (2004), Silva (2020), Mortatti (2018) y Martins (1997), entre otros. De esta manera, esperamos contribuir a la difusión y valoración de la lectura literaria como práctica educativa, fusionando conocimientos multidisciplinarios con la apreciación estética de las obras literarias.Sabemos que a leitura é essencial no acesso ao conhecimento e na compreensão do mundo ao nosso redor. A literatura, por sua vez, desempenha um papel igualmente significativo, contribuindo para a formação cultural e intelectual dos indivíduos e permitindo refletir sobre a diversidade humana por meio das questões sociais abordadas nas obras literárias. Na escola, é fundamental promover a leitura literária como parte essencial do desenvolvimento integral dos estudantes, indo além das disciplinas de Língua Portuguesa e Literatura. Assim, este artigo busca explorar a conexão entre literatura e multidisciplinaridade, evidenciando a importância da promoção da leitura literária como uma responsabilidade a ser compartilhada por diversas áreas do conhecimento. Para isso, revisamos estudos de autores como Cândido (2004), Silva (2020), Mortatti (2018) e Martins (1997) entre outros.
