Conceptions of Researcher Teachers about School Research and Research Web Based

Resumo: | Abstract: The Web is a key resource to our society, especially in the school. At school, it is commonly used for school research. In this activity, the Web is practically a natural partner. However, reports in academic publications denote that the conception about school research stayed away from the real meaning of a research, which implies a poor appropriation of the resources available online. Therefore, and having in mind the poor investigation about this topic, this study intends to identify how research teachers conceive school research and Web research, and how they are used. The results obtained confirm the initial hypothesis, reinforcing the resources poor utilization due to the major conception of scholar research as something different from real research. One can conclude that the scholar culture actually hinders the appropriation of research understanding as an activity related to scientific investigation. Keywords: School research. Web research. Internet.Resumo: A Web é um recurso-chave para nossa sociedade, em especial às escolas, onde é comumente utilizada na pesquisa escolar. Nesta atividade, a Web é uma parceira quase que natural. Porém, relatos em publicações acadêmicas denotam que a concepção de pesquisa escolar distancia-se do verdadeiro sentido de pesquisa, o que implica em uma apropriação pobre dos recursos disponíveis on-line. Desse modo, e tendo em vista a escassez de investigação sobre o assunto, este estudo propôs-se a identificar como docentes-pesquisadores entendem a pesquisa escolar e a pesquisa na Web, e como as utilizam. Os resultados obtidos confirmam a hipótese inicial, reforçando que há uma subutilização dos recursos, em função da concepção majoritária acerca de a pesquisa ainda ser muito distante do que é proposto pela ciência. Assim, pode-se concluir que a cultura escolar dificulta a apropriação de uma concepção de pesquisa mais ligada à investigação científica. Palavras-chave: Pesquisa escolar. Pesquisa na Web. Internet.
