Knowledge mobilized by teachers when reflecting on the training course and pedagogical practice from the perspective of statistical education

Resumo: Abstract: This paper describes and analyzes the production and mobilization of teachers’ knowledge in Statistical Education, especially related to reflections on pedagogical training, and practice, in view of the Knowledge Base for teaching proposed by Lee S. Shulman. The records were obtained by recording seven meetings of the Collaborative Group for Teacher Training in Statistical Education (MoSaiCo Edu), with teachers who teach at different levels and educational institutions in cities in the extreme south of Brazil. The transcripts of these meetings were analyzed using the Discourse of the collective subject (DCS), generating seven discourses. This text presents the results referring to the DCS: “reflection on the teacher’s actions and responsibilities in the classroom and in their professional training”. With that, we tried to show the necessary understandings for the teaching of Statistics, beyond the content domain, that is, those that also cover general, and specific pedagogical knowledge, curricular understandings, learning, and educational purposes. Thus, it is expected to contribute to the training of educators in the field of Statistical Education, in strengthening their professional identity, in addition to highlighting the role of collaborative groups in this formative context. Collaborative context.Resumo: Neste artigo, são descritas e analisadas a produção e a mobilização de conhecimentos docentes em Educação Estatística, especialmente relacionados às reflexões sobre a formação e a prática pedagógica, tendo em vista a Base de Conhecimento para o ensino proposta por Lee S. Shulman. Os registros foram produzidos por meio da gravação de sete encontros do Grupo Colaborativo de Formação de Professores em Educação Estatística (MoSaiCo Edu), com professores que lecionavam em diferentes níveis e instituições de ensino em cidades do extremo sul brasileiro. As transcrições desses encontros foram analisadas por meio do Discurso do Sujeito Coletivo (DSC), gerando sete discursos. Nesse texto, apresentam-se os resultados referentes ao DSC: “reflexão sobre o fazer e as responsabilidades do professor em sala de aula e na sua formação profissional”. Com isso, procurou-se mostrar as compreensões necessárias ao ensino de Estatística para além do domínio do conteúdo, ou seja, aquelas que também abrangem conhecimentos pedagógicos gerais e específicos, compreensões curriculares, da aprendizagem e dos propósitos educacionais. Assim, espera-se contribuir para a formação do educador no âmbito da Educação Estatística, no fortalecimento da sua identidade profissional, além de evidenciar o papel dos grupos colaborativos nesse contexto formativo.
