Resumo: Abstract: To carry out their daily activities with more independence and autonomy and overcome barriers, people with disabilities, or with other limitations, make use of Assistive Technology resources. However, some of these resources, although quite simple, have a high cost, making their acquisition difficult. Digital fabrication can be a way to make these resources at lower costs, as it allows anyone with basic knowledge in this area to create and manufacture different products according to their wants and needs. Thus, the present work focuses on presenting the principles of universal design and digital accessibility used in the proposition of a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on digital fabrication to people with disabilities and inclusive education professionals. The action research was carried out in five distinct stages: document analysis and bibliographic research in materials referring to the researched themes; selection and preparation of materials on Assistive Technology and digital fabrication for composition of the course; construction of the MOOC course on the Virtual Teaching and Learning Environment Moodle; tests by people with disabilities and specialists in the area of accessibility under the guidance of researchers; generation of an accessibility report to correct problems based on the tests performed. It is expected that the course will bring an introduction to the concepts of digital fabrication and that it can be identified as an alternative to manufacturing low-cost Assistive Technology resources in the educational context. Keywords: Digital Manufacturing. Assistive Technology Training. Accessible Course Project.
