Egress Profile and Their Perceptions About the Interdisciplinary Character at the Degree in Natural Sciences: Biology and Chemistry at IFRS - Campus Porto Alegre

Abstract: The degree course in Natural Sciences: Biology and Chemistry of the IFRS Campus Porto Alegre aims to provide interdisciplinary training for teachers, offering differential qualifications in biology and chemistry. In this context, this research aims to identify the profile of the graduates of the courses and their perceptions in relation to the articulated and interdisciplinary character of the course. For this, the graduates were asked to answer an online survey and analyze the Pedagogical Project of the Course. Data processing used Bardin’s content analysis, according to the categories of personal and academic profile, professional profile and pedagogical project of the course. The research features eleven participants, who recognize that the course provided the development of various skills, which were improved during the exercise of their teaching, and that it is possible to observe the articulation of contents during the course, but that more actions in relation to interdisciplinarity should be proposed, especially in the PPC.
