Resumo: The human face is man's calling card, that's why there are so many complaints about it. One of the main complaints is facial aging, a set of irreversible and inevitable physiological changes that occur from birth, being a natural process of the human being. Knowledge about the anatomy of the face is of great importance for the determination of treatments that restore its structure, in order to ensure patient safety and meet their expectations. Collagen biostimulators are a great option to prevent or even reverse the signs of facial aging. The present study aims to present the main collagen biostimulators on the market, how they act on facial aging and their results after application through an integrative review. Five articles were selected from electronic databases that guided the research. The main biostimulators are: Poly-L-lactic acid, calcium hydroxyapatite, polycaprolactone. They act on the skin through microspheres that generate a localized inflammatory response, boosting neocollagenesis, stimulating fibroblasts to produce collagen. The present study showed that biostimulators are a safe and effective option to prevent and reverse the effects of aging, thus improving skin sagging, bringing a more harmonious appearance.

Una de las principales quejas es el envejecimiento facial, un conjunto de cambios fisiológicos irreversibles e inevitables que se producen desde el nacimiento, siendo un proceso natural del ser humano. El conocimiento sobre la anatomía de la cara es de gran importancia para la determinación de tratamientos que restauren su estructura, con el fin de garantizar la seguridad del paciente y cumplir con sus expectativas. Los bioestimuladores de colágeno son una gran opción para prevenir o incluso revertir los signos del envejecimiento facial. El presente estudio tiene como objetivo presentar los principales bioestimuladores de colágeno del mercado, cómo actúan sobre el envejecimiento facial y sus resultados tras su aplicación a través de una revisión integradora. Se seleccionaron cinco artículos de bases de datos electrónicas que guiaron la investigación. Los principales bioestimuladores son: ácido poli-L-láctico, hidroxiapatita de calcio, policaprolactona. Actúan sobre la piel a través de microesferas que generan una respuesta inflamatoria localizada, potenciando la neocolagénesis, estimulando los fibroblastos para producir colágeno. El presente estudio demostró que los bioestimuladores son una opción segura y eficaz para prevenir y revertir los efectos del envejecimiento, mejorando así la flacidez de la piel, aportando una apariencia más armoniosa.A face humana é o cartão de visita do homem, por isso existem tantas queixas acerca dela. Uma das principais queixas é o envelhecimento facial, um conjunto de modificações fisiológicas irreversíveis e inevitáveis que ocorrem desde o nascimento, sendo um processo natural do ser humano. O conhecimento sobre a anatomia da face é de grande importância para a determinação de tratamentos que restauram sua estrutura, a fim de garantir segurança ao paciente e suprir suas expectativas. Os bioestimuladores de colágeno são uma ótima opção para prevenir ou até mesmo reverter os sinais do envelhecimento facial. O presente estudo tem como objetivo apresentar os principais bioestimuladores de colágenos existentes no mercado, como atuam sobre o envelhecimento facial e seus resultados após a aplicação através de uma revisão integrativa. Foram selecionados 5 artigos em bases de dados eletrônicas que nortearam a pesquisa. Os principais bioestimuladores são: Ácido Poli-L-láctico, hidroxiapatita de cálcio, policaprolactona. Eles atuam na pele através das microesferas que geram uma resposta inflamatória localizada impulsionando a neocolagênese, estimulando os fibroblastos a produzirem o colágeno.
