Resumo: This article aims to address the impacts of the social pandemic on the lives of the deaf in the psychological and scope. A qualitative research was carried out using the semi-structured interview as an instrument. Data collection took place in March 2022 in March 2022. Total sample number was found in January. The profile interviews were based on Bardin's method of analysis and distributed as main statements in 4 categories: sociodemographic; social relationships; communication and psychological impacts. From the analysis, it was possible to perceive that the pandemic exacerbated the lack of accessibility that already existed in the lives of deaf subjects in the professional scope and as well as the techniques used to communicate, such as through lip reading. It can be seen that the “mandatory isolation” factor directly influenced the quality of mental health and that social networks played an essential role in maintaining social relationships during the period of isolation. In addition, they lack good communication within health services, such as lack of study within health services, as well as assistance in the lives of health professionals. It is hoped that this study will contribute to the reflection of how the lack of communication can contribute to the experience and instigate painful health professionals to communicate effectively to patients about health, offering comprehensiveness and quality. in the assistance provided to this subject.

INSTITUTO PERSONA DE EDUCAÇÃO SUPERIOR2022-12-30info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionArtigo avaliado pelos Paresapplication/pdfhttps://idonline.emnuvens.com.br/id/article/view/367010.14295/idonline.v16i64.3670ID on line.
